5 Cheap Destinations This May!
Hey Folks! With the May bank holiday season in the UK fast approaching i’m sure you are looking for last minute getaway deals to pretty much anywhere without grey skies in abundance! (For my non-UK readers the UK Bank Holiday is a national holiday created for no apparent reason I believe lol).
I’m sure those of you located in Europe (besides the warm south of course) are also in desperate need of some sunshine or maybe just a change of scenery!?
…So here’s how you can fly to the below 5 destinations (and more) this May for pretty much less than your regular Uber taxi fare:
– Choose your departing location then search ‘everywhere’ as the arrival destination. This gives you flexibility of finding the cheapest location in a given month.
– Be sure to select the whole month of May or the month you wish to travel in as you will be able to identify the cheapest travel days.
Out of the dozens of cheap destinations in the Month of May i’ve hand picked my top 5 (and cheapest lol):
Head to the German Capital for it’s modern art scene, history and local beer drinking! Flights start from £34 return with Ryanair so this is a good excuse for a quick weekend getaway!
*note: the prices I quote are based on flight searches departing from London and of course Ryanair can alter their flight prices as they wish – so book quickly!)*
One of my favourite places on earth so please treat Rome with care when you visit! Lol.
Ryanair are flying out from London from £48 return which is extremely affordable as high season is approaching. Try to head out for last week of May which currently appears to be the cheapest time.
With the South of France sun creeping out for the summer definitely consider the French coastal city if you are looking for a “lazy beach with a bit of culture” kind of getaway. At already low-to-mid 20’s in celsius I can vouch that you will not be disappointed if you are coming from the UK! Lol. Again, Ryanair are doing the cheap flights! …£35 return flights from London.
Ancient landmarks, beaches and guaranteed sunshine! This is not a trend, I promise – but once again head to Ryanair for £70 return flights from London to Pula!
It’s an island, a greek island… so expect lots of spring sunshine, clear blue sea and chilled vibes – for only £60 return with Ryanair !
So there’s your 5! Thanks for reading and I hope it helped plan your next getaway. Share the post and do let me know if you have any travel related questions – i’ll do my best to answer them!
